APNs play a critical role in guaranteeing that hospital patients receive evidence-based treatment and timely interventions during patient recovery. Emergency and critical care nurses maintain the treatment of patients suffering from both chronic and acute conditions. Moreover, they offer an additional continuum of care and also enhance treatment motion throughout the medical system.
The role of an APN is critically indispensable in achieving the required standards of care in the health care system; thus, they ought to receive maximum compensation depending on medical consequences. APNs are much more effective than average workgroups in following their evidence-based practice that improves health care. Moreover, these experts should be compensated for providing counseling sessions to other health practitioners. I would also suggest that APNs should be authorized to undertake overall hospital evaluations of patient populations for community-based care. They are highly skilled, and they ought to be recognized and given more responsibilities in the health care setup.
Finally, I would advocate for direct reimbursement of APN services in the Medicare and Medicaid programs that fall within the definition of exercise as explained by relevant state legislation. Remuneration at the government level should correspond to the area of work of these caregivers. To promote APN usage and acknowledgment of their valuation, I would like to see proof of identity and cooperation between clinicians and clients.
