Introduction
This paper seeks to evaluate and analyze previous reforms in the health care sector in Canada and show how such reforms have enhanced the delivery of services. The previous health care reforms made to the Canadian health care system have significantly transformed the health sector and improved service delivery and efficiency in health institutions. Even though the current models of health care reform are implemented differently across the country, the primary objective is to enhance access to reliable and affordable universal health care.

In this article, the history of health care reform in Canada is discussed while highlighting the benefits that have been achieved as well as the failures in the system. It suggests that reforms in the health care sector have been under-appreciated, lacked sufficient funding, and have also been disjointed. This article reveals the reasons which have resulted in the deterioration of health care services in Canada. I will use this information to explore the challenges experienced by the health sector in the provision of health care services. The article further strengthens the essay by proposing solutions to the various challenges experienced in the health care delivery sector. They include the establishment of research organizations such as the Canadian Institute for Health Research (CHIR) and increasing the funding for health care research and investment in technology obtained from the federal government. Based on these proposals, the recommendations of the essay will be drafted in relation to enhancing the reforms in the health care system.

Eventually, the Canada Health Act amalgamated earlier pieces of legislation and provided for the levying of financial fines on provincial governments, which allowed doctors to charge their patients more than the amount that Medicare reimbursed them.

It supports the arguments of the previous articles. It makes observations about disputes between the provincial governments and the federal governments. It also looks at the organization of the health sector and the probable incentives that are needed to enhance the delivery of health care services to the Canadian population. This article is also relevant to this essay because it compares the Canadian health care system with systems in various countries such as the US. It even highlights the lessons that the US can learn from the Canadian system. The purpose of this essay, it will assist in the evaluation of the advantages and disadvantages associated with the Canadian health care system. The article is also essential for this essay because it lists the requirements that need to be fulfilled by provincial governments so as to get funding from the federal government. This will make the essay more comprehensive and enable its readers to understand how the Canadian health care system operates.
