Employee benefits are non-wage compensation provided by an organization in addition to their normal salaries and wages. These benefits may include group insurance covers for health, dental, and life. Besides, the benefits include retirement benefits, education loans, sick leaves, and vacation. Employers offer benefits for various reasons, such as attracting the best staff, retaining key employees, motivating the workforce to improve performance, helping employees stay fit and active and boosting staff morale (Doyle, 2019).

Our health organization offers salaries that competitive for our area and a positive work environment. It acknowledges that employees are the greatest asset and therefore offers employee benefits that include Paid Time Off, allowing more flexibility in scheduling time away from work. It is typically used to recognize holidays, sick days, and vacation days.

There are also Employee Assistance Programs, including counseling and referral services, available to full-time and part-time employees and their immediate family members. We have excellent health, welfare, and retirement benefits such as health, vision, dental and life insurance, workers compensation insurance, malpractice, and liability insurance, flexible spending account for childcare, and education loan. There are also various additional benefits offered: On-Call Pays, Relocation assistance, and shift differential pay (Doyle, 2019).

Our hospital makes frequent communications in ways that employees are comfortable. Instead of company meetings, Emails and paper mail, our organization reaches its workforce through text messages whereby nearly everyone texts regularly (Machado, 2017). Voice mail messages since contacting people through their phones increase the chances of actually reaching your recipients. The digital media helps in facilitate communication between employees and management. Hence, the use of test messages, for instance, is a key enhancing frequent communication.

The other channel is using videos that can be shared with employees, and they can access them anywhere. Finally, social media on which the majority of people are. It gives a platform to distribute information where employees already are. These communication channels make it easy to frequently communicate with the employees to make them understand their benefits (Freytag & Rauscher, 2017). When benefits are properly communicated to employees, especially in health organizations, employees had better understand how they could use the benefits plan to get healthier and reduce costs. Regular and consistent outreach allows employees to emphasize the plans greatest for the future this demonstrating greater value.

Physicians receive many benefits, which are the same as other employees in the hospital, such as health, dental, life insurance, and retirement plans. However, physicians have few benefits over other employees, such as vacation, Continuing Medical Education, and Reallocation package (Wolstenholm, 2019). Our organization offers many employee benefits, but other benefits are not offered, such as unemployment benefits, legal insurance, college debt relief, and pet insurance. These are clearly stated in the company policy act. Suppose the organization should add more benefits for the physicians like the college debt relief because it might be a lot since they spend a lot of time in the university and overtime benefits for physicians since they work for long hours, especially during this season of the coronavirus. Doctors and nurses should be given more benefits since they are working so hard. In conclusion, the monetary and fringe benefits that employers give motivate the workers. The firm gives benefits such as insurance covers, better pay, improved workplace, great relationship, and continuous training.
